International speaker, entrepreneur, bestselling author and songwriter Kristy Guo is bringing a little humour to the beauty world with her upcoming single, “LASHES”, scheduled for release on 6 November 2026.
The inspiration came from an unexpected and hilarious moment between Kristy and her young daughter, Selena. While the two were singing together, Kristy suddenly imagined how funny she might look without her beloved lash extensions. Instead of keeping the thought to herself, she turned it into a silly song, making Selena laugh out loud.
But Selena wasn’t just an audience member. She had her own creative contribution to make. Inspired by the moment, she suggested adding some funny words, which eventually became part of the final version of the song.
One of its most memorable lines captures the playful spirit perfectly:
“I am so sad, I am so sad, just a girl who wants more lashes, God I want more lashes please.”
